The Chocolate Fox is coming back to Hershey, PA!

The Chocolate Fox kicked off in 2021 with an excellent showing of over 200 Foxes! This All-Fox show is brought to you by Fox Mustang Restoration, the creators of Foxtoberfest. In 2022, we sold out of pre-registration and quickly realized that we need more space for all these amazing Foxes. We are delighted to once again bring this exciting event to the northeast, but especially to the iconic cities of Hershey and Harrisburg, PA. The AACA Museum, a Smithsonian affiliate, not only provides a picturesque backdrop for the cruise-in, but offers visitors a chance to tour 3 floors of vintage vehicles in unique scenes and settings. While you're in the area, check out Hershey Park and Chocolate World or venture out into Amish Country or down to Gettysburg; there's something for everyone at this vacation destination. Much like Foxtotoberfest, The Chocolate Fox is not your traditional car show; we welcome all Fox-Bodies regardless of their condition or restoration stage. You'll see beautiful low-mileage show cars right next to multi-colored projects and that's the way we like it! This is a feel-good, cruise-in type show where Fox fans can come together and experience a sense of community. The show features a popular vote format where registered show participants decide who receives the coveted trophies for classes like "1987-93 Best Original" as well as give-aways like "Most In Need of Upholstery". We have an All-Fox Swap Meet and a vendor row, so bring your cash because you are sure to find some treasures out there! We will also have a car corral with Foxes For Sale. New Fox-Body parts will be available from Fox Mustang Restoration, as well as a huge stock of Mustang and Ford apparel and Chocolate Fox merch! Saturday, May 6th Event:

9am-5pm - This is the main event! Join us for our All-Fox car show at our new location, Harrisburg Area Community College, 1 HACC Dr, Harrisburg, PA 17110. This location has additional parking for show cars and on-site parking for trailers. 

Spectators are $10 per vehicle, no per person charge.

Big Brothers, Big Sisters, a one-on-one mentoring program for children, is the official charity of The Chocolate Fox. Last year we raised an astounding $4,670!  Please consider giving a donation to this amazing organization. We will have a 50/50 raffle at the show, so be sure to stop by and enter for your chance to win! AND they will be selling Hershey chocolate bars and some will contain golden tickets to prizes.

FAQs

Truck/Trailer Parking?

We will have onsite trailer parking this year. We will release further information on trailer parking later this year.

Where should I stay?

The Staybridge Suites is our host hotel for 2023! It only a few minutes down the road. Check out this link to reserve your room!

Can I pay at the gate?

This will depend on whether we sell-out through online registration. Check back closer to the show for this information.

If I pre-registered do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, the only thing you need to bring is the window sticker that will be mailed to you  April 1, 2023.

What if my Fox isn't good enough for the show, but I still want to bring it?

EVERY FOX IS SHOW-WORTHY! Our show welcomes Foxes at every restoration stage! We even have a trophy for "Best Daily Driver". All non-registered cars will be parked in spectator parking, but we hate to see Foxes over there. Come be a part of the show!

Is there a fee for spectators?

Yes, it's $10 per vehicle. Please try to carpool if possible, space is limited. 

Will food be available?

Yes, food is available for purchase from several food trucks.

Can I bring a Mustang to The Chocolate Fox that's not a Fox-Body?

Yes, you are welcome to bring other year Mustangs, but you will be parked in spectator parking. Only Fox-Bodies will be allowed on the show field.

Can I bring a non-Mustang Fox to The Chocolate Fox?

Yes, any registered car that sits on a 78-93 Fox chassis will be allowed in the show. In fact, we even have a trophy category for non-Mustang Foxes!

Can I bring a Fox-Body with an LS motor to The Chocolate Fox?

Yes, any registered car that sits on a 78-93 Fox chassis will be allowed in the show.

How do I get an event t-shirt?

Event t-shirts will be sold at the show.

What's the refund policy?

The event is rain or shine. No refunds will be given.

Is the event family friendly?

Yes

Will there be a Swap Meet?

Yes! The Chocolate Fox will feature an All-Fox swap on both Friday and Saturday! If you have a pile of Fox parts this is an awesome opportunity to get them in front of tons of Fox fans, so clean out your garages and get to selling! Space is limited, register early to secure one.

How big are the swap meet spaces?

The swap meet spaces are 10'x20' and will be in a grassy area. You may have a tent in this area, but it must be staked . Your setup must fit within the 10'x20' area. Support vehicles that do not fit within your allotted space will need to be parked in spectator parking.

What can be sold at the swap meet?

We ask that the majority of your parts are Fox-Body. Any USED Fox-Body parts are allowed in the swap meet area. Items that can NOT be sold in the swap meet area: New parts (except New Old Stock parts), accessories (t-shirts, hats, etc), food or drink.

What time is Swap Meet Setup?

Swap Meet set-up begins at 12pm on Friday, Cruise-In starts at 2pm. Spots may be purchased online for $50 until April 10, 2022. Spots may be purchased onsite for $60, space permitting.
